On Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Forest Park Fun Bowl in Forest Park, Georgia, the RealBowlers Tour (RBT) held its first Ladies only tournament.  The first annual Something 4 the Ladies Scratch Singles.  This event attracted some of the top female bowlers in the area, all vying for the first-ever Ladies title on the RealBowlers Tour and the guaranteed $1000.00 prize.  The young lady that emerged champion this day was LaTonya Walker of Atlanta, Georgia.  Latonya put on a show as she defeated a tough field of ladies to face—Paulette Sanders, in the final match in which to cap off an exciting tournament.  LaTonya won $1000 and the coveted RBT trophy, Paulette took home $440 for finishing runner-up.

The second day of our kick-off weekend was the Fourth Annual Holiday Scratch Singles Tournament.  This event brought out 64 of the best bowlers in the South and as always the atmosphere was very intense and competitive.  At stake was the $1,600.00 top prize and trophy, second, third and fourth place was all guaranteed $1,100.00, $800.00, and $600.00 respectively.  The top 16 qualifiers cashed and in the end only four bowlers were left standing--#4 seed Tracy Lamberth of Hendersonville, TN, #6 seed Kevin Kovash of Clarksville, TN, #3 seed Lee Vanderhoef of Greenville, SC, and #7 seed Tony Campagna, of Nashville, TN.  These bowlers roll two stair step matches to set up the championship match which pitted Tracy Lamberth against Kevin Kovash.  Tracy came out on top to bring home the first title of the new season--$1600 and the coveted RBT trophy.  Kevin earned $1,100.00 for his effort.  Lee Vanderhoef and Tony Campagna finished third and fourth respectively.
